Facts

We offer two different courses:

  • Course A / no prior knowledge of the German language
  • Course B / prior knowledge of the German language – equivalent to level B1

Course A

For applicants with little or no prior knowledge
of the German language

Duration of programme:

3 semesters (one and a half years)

Course structure:

full-time programme with mandatory attendance

Course contents:

  • German language – Language acquisition and DaF test.
  • Foundational programme including final exam
  • 25 hours per week including tutorial, projects, workshops
  • Extracurricular and cultural activities
Start of programme:
 January 2012 / 2013
End of programme:
 June of the following year
Language of instruction:
 German
Class size:
 approx. 15

Exams/Certificates:

  • DaF test or B2-exam – Goethe-Institute
  • Final exam of the foundational programme of the Hochschule Bremen
  • Authorisation to study in the chosen field of study at the Hochschule Bremen after having attended the Pre-Study Course successfully

  • For all Applicants: 10th of September

Course B

For applicants with prior knowledge of the German language – minium level B1

Duration of programme:

2 semesters (one year)
